This lesson we learnt how to blend different
backgrounds with skin and clothes. We haven't gotten the task but we have a good idea of what it is about. I was using the liquify tool a lot this lesson as I was transforming a model. This is my avatar.
It was difficult and found some bits especially hard like making sure it look real yet not real. This is what the original photo looked like.
As you can see, I changed the hair and skin tone as well as the eyes and lips. I used a number of photos to add the lips, eyes, skin tone and hair.
It took a while and a lot of brushes to mask these photo's onto the background and the result was interesting. In general it was really a fun experiment.

New skill
We learnt how to touch up photo's and how to make a brush. We started by touching up Emma Watson. We learnt About pixels and high resolution images. The Emma Watson photo was 1919 × 2560 mega pixels. The photo on the left is the one I edited and the one on the right is the original photo. I used the patch tools and clone tools to get rid of the blemishes and hue and saturation to change the lips.
Starting out
Starting out with photoshop, it was challenging and informative. I have had experience with photoshop before but I didn't remember much about it. We were working with an emu and frog using masks and layers.
This is the image that I ended up with. I didn't include hue and saturation which would have made it more blended.

This is another image where I blended together a panda and a cat. I could have changed the hue and saturation a little bit to make it look more realistic.
